Group of the month
More than Men
We’re a peer-led men’s mental health group built on support, connection, and community. Our aim is simple: to give men a safe, welcoming space to talk (or just listen), have a brew, and be reminded that they’re not alone.
Every Thursday, we host our Brew and Banter session in Whitecross Community Centre — relaxed meet-ups with informal chats, a few laughs, and a steady supply of biscuits. No pressure to speak — just show up, have a cuppa, and be part of the brotherhood. Whether you're having a tough week or just fancy a bit of company, you're always welcome.
Midweek, we run Wellbeing Wednesdays, focused on positive mental health and building tools for everyday life. We share and explore constructive coping strategies, support each other’s goals, and create space for personal growth — without judgment.
Our group is led by men, for men. We know what it’s like to carry things quietly, to feel isolated, and to not always have the words. That’s why we’re here — to offer support, not solutions. To listen, not lecture. To build each other up, one conversation at a time.
We believe in the power of community, and that strength comes from opening up, even if it’s just a little at a time. There’s no need to put on a brave face — just bring yourself. You’ll be met with kindness, respect, and a room full of people who get it.
Because mental health matters. Because no man should feel like he's facing it alone.
Come for the brew, stay for the brotherhood.
